PIT-1501W

Advantech's PIT-1501W is a new, state-of-the-art patient infotainment terminal conforming to all UL60601-1/EN60601-1 and IP65/NEMA4 specifications. It greatly enhances the quality of patients' hospital stays by allowing them access to movies, television, phone communications and the Internet. Furthermore, the PIT-1501W empowers medical professionals by making medical records, lab results and medication details available at the point-of-care.

The PIT-1501W is equipped with a 16:9 widescreen touch display that provides HDTV standard 1366 x 768 pixel resolution. Powered by a low-voltage Intel® Atom™ Z530 processor it runs silent, is fanless, and consumes little power. Extremely versatile, it can be mounted anywhere and is a mere 2.5 inches thick.

As with all Advantech patient infotainment systems, the camera equipped PIT-1501W is rugged, sealed, and easy to disinfect. It offers a variety of safety and security features such as LED indicator lights, nurse call buttons and RFID and Smart Card readers.

The PIT-1501W is ideal to implement anywhere patient comfort and medical computing solutions need to be addressed: patient rooms, chemotherapy centers, dialysis centers and surgical waiting rooms. Its all-in-one design includes a CPU, memory, a HDD, an OS, a camera, RFID, and wi-fi – thereby eliminating the hassle that comes with integrating peripherals. With its 75/100mm VESA mounting holes, the PIT-1501W can be easily mounted on a swing arm, nursing cart or stand. The absence of a fan eliminates noise and dust concerns that could pose problems in sensitive medical environments.
