800MHz Fanless PC/104plus CPU Module

Tri-M Engineering's VDX104+ is a rugged, 800MHz CPU module designed to complement their existing PC/104 product line. The VDX104+ is a fanless, design featuring a complement of robust features such as extended temperature operation and soldered DDR2 RAM integrated in a small, low power package. The VDX104+ is RoHS compliant and conforms to the PC/104-Plus form factor which allows users to easily add a wide-range of low-cost I/O options.

The VDX104+'s 800MHz DM&P Vortex86DX System-on-Chip (SoC) is a high performance and fully static 32-bit X86 processor designed to work with embedded operating systems including Linux, Windows®CE, DOS, and most popuar 32-bit RTOS. Standard features of the VDX104+ include 512MB soldered on DDR2 RAM, four COM ports, two USB2.0 ports and dual 10/100 Ethernet port. In addition to 16MB onboard SPI Flash (floppy emulation), the VDX104+ includes both a Type I CompactFlash™ socket as well as a microSD socket. System expansion is supported by the PC/104plus interface.

The VDX104+ is a compact design measuring 3.55" x 3.775" x 0.9" and has an operating temperature of -40° to +85°C. Single +5VDC power is supplied through the PC/104 bus or input power connector and total power consumption is 2.5 Watts. The VDX104+ is available from stock and is priced at $263 at quantity 100.
