PC/104 Design Contest

Mannheim/Germany, NOVEMBER 23, 2004- LiPPERT, The Embedded PC Company, now sponsors the PC/104 Design Contest held by the PC/104 Consortium.

LiPPERT encourages its customers to submit their entries for the contest to the Consortium by December 10, 2004.

Now in its third year, the PC/104 Design Contest rewards companies for their innovative use of PC/104, PC/104-Plus and PCI-104 computer technologies. Winners in three categories will be honored at the Embedded Systems Conference in San Francisco in March 2005. Winning projects will be highlighted at the Conference and presented to the press.

Entries may come in three categories:

1. Commercial for Industrial/Medical/Transportation/Other

2. Commercial for Military/Aerospace/COTS

3. Research Project

Two short essays must be submitted for each entry describing what the product does, how it is innovative, how unique design challenges were solved, and which PC/104 specifications were most critical in solving the problem. Entry requirements must be received by December 10, 2004 at 5:00pm Pacific Time.
