The Industrial Automation Group of Advantech is honored to receive Control Engineering China’s “Product of the Year” award in the HMI category for the TPC-1780H Touch Panel PC for its innovate technology, excellent functionality, and ultra slim design.

The TPC-1780H is a versatile fanless Touch Panel PC with a Core™ 2 Duo CPU, 17" SXGA TFT LCD, ultra slim design (only 3.66” depth), and a die-cast aluminum front panel. The TPC-1780H is one of the most rugged and thin touch panel PCs on the market, while still providing a large and vibrant 17" display.

The TPC-1780H has one expansion slot to allow RS-422/485, PCI-104, CAN-bus, and more to be connected for various application needs. It uses a low voltage processor and heat sink to achieve a reliable fanless design and with its NEMA4/IP65 front panel, it’s resilient enough to resist the harsh conditions of any industrial environment. Furthermore, the TPC-1780H provides multiple standard communication ports (3 x serial ports, 2 x Gigabit Ethernet LANs, 4 x USB 2.0 ports, and 2 x PS/2 and 1 x VGA) allowing connectivity with a variety of peripherals.
