Up to 48 TTL or 20 LVDS signals are available for external inputs and outputs connections. A dedicated 512 Kbyte SRAM is present for local data storage.
With a 32-bit PCI core interface, the MPGA-1010 module is open to a wide range of applications by using specific user-defined functions or by applying available IP cores to the FPGA firmware.
The MPGA-1010 is shipped with a 32-bit PCI target sample core for easy application evaluation.
An optional character or graphics LCD display can be installed on the module for direct information monitoring.
The MPGA-1010 integrates a 2-axis accelerometer sensor for motion detection purposes. On-board switches and LEDs are available for local actions and status.
The KSBC-0405 and MPGA-1010 combination is a useful architecture for various application domains including:
Acquisition system
Programmable pattern generator
Encryption unit
Remote I/O controller
Motion controller
Data logger
