Moxa introduces the UPort® 1130I, the newest addition to their UPort® 1100 family. The UPort® 1130I is an RS-422/485 USB-to-serial converter with 2 KV isolation protection to shield PCs from potentially damaging surges and electrical spikes, making it the perfect accessory for laptop computers and workstations. The UPort® 1130I provides a plug and play USB solution for both new and legacy RS-232/422/485 devices, and is perfect for mobile, industrial instrumentation equipment, and point-of-sale applications.

The UPort® 1100 series converters are compatible with new and legacy serial devices and offer a USB data transmission rate of up to 12 Mbps and allow for super fast data transmission with 921.6 Kbps maximum baudrate. LEDs are located on the surface of the converter to indicate USB status and TxD/RxD activity. Most importantly, the UPort® 1150I features rugged 15N Connectors that are designed to stay put so users won't need to worry about disconnection.
